Cale is having an enlightening discussion on his blog about who we are. As I ponder this dilemma I wonder what others think about me? Am I weird, obnoxious, or just a pain in the butt? I am a complex individual to be sure, and how I react to certain things depends upon my mood and my environment. I tend to over react and lash out which is probably due to the fact that I was the youngest and I had one heck of a psycho brother who enjoyed tormenting me to no end. I have also evolved from various situations and tragedies happening over the years to an over-the-hill wife whose husband travels extensively and an irritating mother who has a son with Asperger Syndrome.
How others perceive you is something that we sometimes think about usually after we have done something horrific or we finally notice people looking or treating us in a certain way. I am perplexed and somewhat apprehensive as to what people think of me . . .
Hubby- I am known as the woman that cleans the house and cooks dinner and says he is NEVER home.
MONK- I am known as the woman who constantly nags at him to do this or that.
MONK’s past teachers- I am known as the “nut” or the “Advocate From Hell”.
Neighbors- I am known as that lady who doesn’t work and her hubby constantly travels.
Church congregation- I am known as the “Church Lady” who sits in the second pew and teaches first grade CCD.
My parents- I am known as the youngest child who is very dependable and has one mean temper.
Bloggers- I am known as the parent of MONK whose solo driving is slowly killing her.
What kind of person are you?

I'm a person who really enjoys reading the thoughts of others who share so eloquently.
Oh, man. I'm scared to know what people think of me! Daniel has called me his friend. I hope he still thinks that when he's older!
Julie-
I think that is great that he does. I don't think MONK has ever considered me as his friend. LOL! :)
Thanks ME for the kind words. :)
I think as moms we do what we have to. Sometimes we have to be tough...but that's okay, too! =)
