My nagging has improved somewhat, but not to the point of celebrating my “recovery”. That concept might never be achieved. Needless to say, I am trying and MONK seems to like the “new and improved” version of me. I am not yelling as much and the cats are not running and hiding under the bed due to my overzealous badgering.
Instead of nagging, some recommend cueing. Cues are words that stimulate or suggest appropriate actions, without insisting on those actions.
Hmmmmm. So that means when MONK is dilly dallying around and will probably be late for class it is okay to say, for instance, “Time” to cajole him into moving faster? Or maybe say, “Move Butt”? How about, “I wonder how much you will make as a garbage man?”
Maybe duct tape would work better on me?
