Mom on the War Path
Raising children should be done by both parents, not done by only one. Especially if the child has special needs. Hubby works extremely hard and travels extensively so I guess you can figure out who is left home holding the parenting bag, little ‘ole me that's who. Well, I’ve hit rock bottom and need desperate respite, but momma ain’t gonna get it. Nope. I cajole, plead, threat, and try to use bribes to get help from hubby. No dice. He’s tired when he finally comes home and doesn’t want to be bothered. Plus, he is definitely on the spectrum (yes, he is an engineer) and is oblivious to the problem or he says “MONK will grow out of it”. All I can say is “BITE ME!”
This isn’t a Calgon “Take Me Away!” moment. No, it’s waaaaaaaaaay beyond that. Something tells me I need Paxil.
Paxil, take me away!
