For years now, M has been doing his laundry. This life skill is necessary for everyone to learn and M accomplished this with no problems. You are probably wondering how I got M to fold his clothes. Well, on “The Big Bang Theory” TV show, Sheldon used this fancy clothes folder from flipfold.com. M loves the show and was quite interested in the contraption that seemed to make the laundry chore easier.
I therefore bought one for M and he now enjoys folding his clothes and he does a fantastic job! I even bought one for myself! :)

I'm pretty sure that my mini-Sheldon will need one of these as well. But we're not quite at laundry yet ;-)
Rebecca- It's never too early to start. First, I had MONK take his laundry down to the washing machine. I then had him help me sort his clothes and put some in the washer. Then I helped him choose the right settings on our washer (warm or cold water), (size of load), etc.
As for folding we started with the easy things first, towels, socks, etc. and gradually worked on to harder things.
