Repetitive Questioning
Individuals with ASD often have the problem of repetitive questioning (asking the same question over and over again). When my son was young he used to ramble on and on I would tell him to please write down his questions and give it to me so I can write down my answer. Having something that visually answers his questions usually calmed him down. If I continually responded back in a logical manner it seldom stopped this behavior. He would just continue his questioning and sometimes the subject that he kept questioning about was not always what upset him in the first place. I would also ask him the same question he just asked me and had him answer it which seemed to work as well.

I know this behavior very well.. Bug constantly asks the same thing over and over even when I answer he will keep asking... Definitely going to check out those links.
Rebecca-
MONK used to do this and it drove me up the wall. He finally stopped in middle school. I would also ask him the same question he just asked me and had him answer it which seemed to calm him down.
