A fun and wacky game that you can play at home, at your support group, or anywhere. Asperger Land helps moms learn how to cope with having a child with AS and it might teach them a thing or two about how to deal with the day to day problems that seem to crop up when you least expect it.
*This game is free, however it is only to be used for personal use. It may not be published on any websites or other electronic media, or distributed in newsletters, bulletins, or any other form or sold for profit. Reproduction or retransmission of any materials, in whole or in part, in any manner, is not permitted.
Directions: Put cards in a small basket and use another one for discards near the game board. Place your marker at START. Roll the die and move that many spaces. Follow the directions on the space you land on. If your maker lands on a picture of ka-ka hitting the fan, pick a card and read it out loud. On each card is a crappy situation that your AS child has gotten themselves into and you must deal with that situation ASAP. The player must state how they can rectify the situation and if the other players agree that they have found a suitable solution to the problem, the player gets to stay where they are on the game board. If the player does not come up with a good solution to the problem, they go back to where they were. The first player to Hugh Jackman is the winner. The winner receives a foot rub from Hugh while he whispers sweet nothings into their ear while some other horrendous catastrophe is brewing in the near and distant future that will need your attention real soon.
*Alternate rules: If you land on a space that has a picture of a person on it, the player must make the face that is depicted on the space.
